Video images in reports & DVD recordings

All the images that appear in the reports are taken directly from my own compilation from each trip. If you would like a copy of any trip DVD, they cost:

DVD - Ł9.50 for 1, Ł17.50 for 2 when ordered together (on separate disks). Postage is free within the UK, but will have to be added for shipping outside of the UK. Current examples of postage cost are Ł1.75 (1 DVD) and Ł2.50 (2 DVD's) to the US and Canada. I will let you know exact postage costs before payment.

The camera I currently use is a Canon Mini DV, which records digital footage on to Mini DV film. The quality is excellent, including reasonable quality of the captured images (I used a Canon Super 8 before 2001, which used lower quality analogue media). The addition of a 2x converter has further improved the videos - I now have the capability of 40x optical zoom on a palm sized camcorder.

The video is first captured directly from the camera using a Firewire connector, and then both the DVD recordings and still images can be processed using appropriate software (I use U-Lead Video Studio)
